As 2022 draws to a close, BDSRA Foundation would like to thank everyone for their support and generosity this year. Support means everything to us as we continuously work toward making our vision of a World Without Batten a reality. We’re grateful that you have shared our vision and joined us in our mission.

Thanks to your support, BDSRA was able to impact numerous Batten families along their uncharted journey through Batten disease. In 2022, we:

Hosted 440 attendees at our first Hybrid Family Conference in Cleveland, OH
Raised awareness on International Batten Disease Awareness Day on June 9th with a record 416 people registering for the virtual 5K
Attended numerous conferences to learn how we can improve our Support, Research, and Advocacy resources for Batten families
Provided shipping costs for six families in our Equipment Exchange, where Batten families exchange equipment with fellow Batten families in need

This couldn’t have been possible without your continued support of BDSRA and most importantly, patients, families, and caregivers affected by Batten disease.
