2022-2027 Medicaid 1115 Demonstration Application
Urgent Call-To-Action: There is a pressing concern within Oregon that the Epilepsy Foundation and many others in the disability and chronic condition community are working on. Through a 1115 Demonstration waiver to the federal government (CMS, specifically), Oregon is considering changes to its Medicaid program that will have significant detrimental effects on people with epilepsy who receive Medicaid. Comments on Oregon’s proposal are due by Friday, January 7. The deadline is very soon but it is shown that a volume of comments in these situations matter. The leaders in this cause are hoping that other epilepsy-related patients and organizations can submit comments. Please see below for more information, resources, a live meeting, and how to take action.
